Re: Teal, Black, and Red GMPs on eBay
My wife and I welcomed twins back in November. My office where they were on display is now a nursery. I don’t see me getting my office back in the foreseeable future so they would be boxed up in storage for a long time. Figured it was time to get rid of them while I can still make a couple bucks on ...

Teal, Black, and Red GMPs on eBay
Listed my Teal, Black, and Red 93 Cobra GMPs on eBay separately if any is looking for one. Starting bid of $250 has already been met on all three. No reserve on them so they are all going to sell. The Black one is missing the antenna and the bag that the floor mats are in is open. Didn’t realize whe...

Re: Ticking
Ouch Z, that hurts. Haha, idk, guess I have always just been used to changing the oil on my 2004 Dodge Dakota for the last 12 years (1 plug!)... Anyway, just finished up the drivers side gasket today. Man those bolts are a PITA. That was the side I thought the problem was on (although my mechanic sa...

Re: Ticking
They are BBK shorty headers. I ended up getting BBK header gaskets and new bolts. I hope the gaskets aren't the same ones that came with the headers that failed...going to attempt the job myself when I have a free weekend.

Re: Ticking
Thanks guys. I ended up ordering new BBK header gaskets and bolts (or course they are back order). I also bought an air ratchet, figured it would easier to get into those tight spaces then my impact wrench. Just wondering how difficult taking the bolts are? What are other peoples experience with hea...

Re: Ticking
ok so I believe these are the headers that I bought a few years ago: https://lmr.com/item/BBK-1515/79-93-Mustang-BBK-50L-Chrome-Shorty-Headers Would the below part number 1575 be what I need? Or does it matter, looks like the only difference is the gasket width (I can't get the URL to work so you ha...

Re: Ticking
Wow 1993cobra, I guess you do learn something new everyday. Apparently I have only been draining from the rear plug, didn't even realize there was a plug in the front! After reading this I looked up a YouTube video and saw what you are talking about. What an idiot I am.

Re: Ticking
Anyone have any suggestions on a good brand of gaskets to use with my BBK headers?

Re: Ticking
So I got confirmation today that it is the header gaskets, both need to be replaced. I took it to a custom exhaust shop and they estimated $4-500 for the job. Does that sound reasonable to you guys? I wanna say I had the entire stock system removed (without any cutting) and the aftermarket one ( hea...

Re: Rear bumper
Finally got around me to it this weekend. I was able to river them back to the bumper frame and everything is all set now. Just another little thing to check off the list.

Re: Ticking
No smoke at all. My mechanic had suggested it may be burning oil before but I have never seen any smoke. Not sure if this helps either but my oil pressure gauge usually fluctuates right below mid level. Not in the red zone but not dead center either and it moves a bit depending if I'm on the gas or ...

Ticking
Ok guys, hoping someone can help me out here. So I'm an amateur mechanic, I try to fix things if I can. I usually look at videos online to learn how to do things. But right now I'm just trying to diagnose my issue. For a few weeks now I have been hearing some ticking when I get on the gas, note I do...
