Doug if you are still in the process of doing this use the metal Ford gaskets and tighten the bolts down tight. Guys looking to buy two 9" wide 4 lug or 5 lug 93 cobra wheels. I know someone out there has two somewhere. They can be aftermarket 5 lug or OEM wheels does not matter. Need them so I can run 275/40/17 tires in the rear.

Has anyone done this before? I have looked this over and looks like it might be possible if the engine is lifted up a few inches and the steering rack is removed. Hmmm don't feel like removing the engine just for this. Any ideas?

Reviving this thread. Nobody answered the question about the 1993 cobra Speedo drive gear tooth count. Did the cobra's come with 7 or 8T drive gear?
