I have a stock 5.0 pulley and was gona try the same thing. Car has a new alterantor but at night everything alwasy seems really dim. Sounds like it may help my car out.

Put the 93 cobra waterpump pulley back on it. IT hasnt been to bad the last few days been running around 205 with the AC on. Going to do a coolant flush this week and see if that may help
