Re: Kenne Bell car
I have a stock hood with the same set up. It won’t clear a stock hood with a 3.5” pulley.

Front Sway Bar Bushings
Hello guys, I have the engine removed from my Cobra and am in the process of cleaning the engine bay and replacing worn out parts. I want to replace the front sway bar bushings, as I’m sure they need it after 26 years. Does anyone know if there is a different sized front sway bar or different sized ...

Re: Rebuild Stock or Modify.. I need opinions
...any updates on the new build???..... I had the car back for about three weeks now. I had the original motor removed so it wouldn't be modified and its stored. When I get a shop built ill have it on a stand and display it. What went into the car was a 347 stroker with forged Pistons, cam, etc.. I...

Re: Rebuild Stock or Modify.. I need opinions
I want to update this cliff hangar, lol. The car is in the shop and the original motor is being pulled and preserved stock. I'm having a 347 stroker motor installed and the Kenne Bell will be put on that. The original motor I will store away so its with the car, just in case. I didn't want to get to...

Re: Thoughts on a gear upgrade? And weight...
I have 373's in mine with 400rwhp and it seems to be too much gear. First and second are useless. Highway driving and higher speeds aren't fun because I'm throwing up such high RPMs. I'm thinking of going to a .331 or .327 ratio.

Re: Rebuild Stock or Modify.. I need opinions
My previous tuner used a Diablo chip, which according to other shops is hard to get right. hopefully this new tuner can dial it in and make it safe and get good numbers. Your torque numbers are awesome and I bet makes it a handful on smooth pavement

Re: Rebuild Stock or Modify.. I need opinions
I think the centrifugal superchargers are what make the bigger hp numbers on a dyno, especially with 11#. But the torque is where the KB shines. That's a lot of grunt for these cars which is what attracted me to go with the twin screw set up. I am positive ill be over 400hp when it gets retuned in a...

Re: Rebuild Stock or Modify.. I need opinions
It is mainly for protection, but it dynoed at 387rwhp and 400tq with a 3" pulley after the meth was installed (11.5#'s of boost). I would have to get the car's folder out to see the previous dyno before the meth kit, but it wasn't quite that high. I recently installed a 2.76" pulley which ...
