Value of parting a 93 Cobra?
In today's economy with a lot of 93's bringing $10k or so, what do you think one could get by parting a full running 93 Cobra - 80k miles with a few aftermark parts but all the original parts too, except catback. Now before anyone gets pissed that one would part a perfectly good cobra, what about one that has an aftermarket sunroof? I personally would never part one that is in perfect running condition etc, however, one of mine has an aftermarket sunroof of which when I bought, I thought big deal, I'll deal with it. I had already made the drive etc and for the price I decided I'll just drive etc. Well I've since considered selling and know that obviously that lowers the value greatly. However, for the cost of an engine ground effects etc, it seems as if one could get a descent amount for parting a car like this. I don't know that I could bring myself to do it but it's been thought....as I said, my problem is the aftermarket sunroof and I am having a hard time enjoying / dealing with that.

Sunroof problem
I know this might sound crazy but what about cutting the top off of another LX or GT and having the skin welded in place on the Cobra. Then of course a paint job. That is if you wanted to keep the car.
Just sayin

Roof skins are easy, I have done about 3 on Fox body cars, and 1 on a 04 Mach. I am about to do a Black 93 As soon as I get it back. I would do that b-4 I part it out, or sell it to someone who will fix it.
See if you can get a cardboard headliner from another donor car. They fit 10x better than the aftermarket ABS and Joann Fabrics has a grey headliner materiel that is a close match to opal gray. (At least here locally). I can send pics of the headliner I refinished on mine.

Headliner mtarial
50 Resto actually sells the correct material. I have done many with the original Boards. Just DO NOT use the 5.0 Resto headliner boards, they suck.
