vacuum help

Post by Dantak »

I have this vacuum issue that I notice shortly after I got the car and never addressed. There is a vacuum hose that's not connected. Here is some pictures of where it starts and where it goes(i think). Can someone tell me what this vacuum is for?

Yes, that's exactly where that hose goes! It's for the smog system. I'm guessing the smog system was taken off at one point and that hose was left dangling and ended up getting burned off by the header.

If you still have cats I would get that fixed, if not you could ditch the whole smog system, just save it in case you ever put the car back to stock.

Thanks brother. I was hoping that it wasn't important.
