Restoring a 93 Cobra.

I've been pinting for years, NO WAY you can math paint from a picture. Best way to match it is Go to a Good paint store, they should have a Gun Like machine they put up to the original pint, It will give them the shade variance. But I am sure the original paint is still fine, The fading is usually in the clear. Try to haave a Fender Wet sanded with 2000 or higher, and Buffed. You will be amazed how nice it will come up. 93R #19 Sat in a Back Yard in AZ for 2 years, the clear was fadded badly, I wet saneded the car and it looked new again, Only paint work I did was the Front and rear covers, It is in the Picture registry. The paint on it was Chalky when I got it. But it puffed out great.

Can they match the paint if you take the car ? I am wanting to put a Cervini's Cobra R hood on and really have hoped to not have to paint the entire car ?

Take off the gas door and take it to them. thats what i did when i got my cervinis R hood painted. It was pretty close

Got some new Pics up, Just started on the wheels tonight, got them sanded and primmed, paint them tomorrow.

Stock, 245/45 ZR 17 Inch Gatorbacks. Got them mounted balanced and installed this weekend, will post up some new picd tomorrow. exterrior is almost 10% Coplete, Starting on Interrior and Exhaust this week. Hopefully my new TMI leather seat Covers will be in this week. But I have a lot to do to the interrior.

Thanks man. I have a lot of time in the paint. Well and the whole car. Got some new pics added. Car is almost Complete and ready to sell. Oh did I say sell!

I'd love to have a black one, but funds right now won't permit it. Damn....

Man it is amazing what a new paint job and some refreshing up does to one of these cars looking good so far.
