I just had the exact same problem with my cobra. I cleaned the mass air sensor and the throttle body (I know, don't care), and the difference is night and day. You don't need the special torx bit. You don't have to take the mass air apart to clean the sensors. Just buy some mass air cleaner spray from autozone and spray it in there. Worked like a charm for me. The high end bog is completely gone.
