website down , maybe again?

hello everyone, i am in the process of deleting all the fake (spam)usernames. This is why the site was down yesterday, cause i screwed up something while doing this! i will wait till late tonight before atemting to complete the process incase it goes down again. Unless anyone here knows how to work on websites or they have a friend who knows how. (that means free) If it goes down again , trust me it will be back probably in 24 ours or less.please feel free to email me if you are familiar with website operations, specifically msql data tables

got over 30,000 spam usernames removed!! found some names that were never acrivated, if you need a name activated, or i accidentally deleted you. email me cobr96@cs.com

it should , i also have to change the registration process to prevent new spammers . i.e a question new registering members have to answer

Now I gotta figure out why new users can't register? It says username already exist. Before it even asks for a name? Anyone good with php, Arron how bout your friend?

Just trying to help. Came across this.... not sure If u have the same phpbb2.0. Take a look, but make sure if u use it that u r able to retract it if it doesn't.

hey brett, do you know if the msql execution is the same as a msql query? i found the msql query box, and im not sure if thats were i put that string , from the link you gave me.

I'm going to say it's the same. Query is the box for the program and execute is refering to (go) or (run). From reading this.

Make sure your able to someway retract it if it doesn't work. Hate to see the site go down.

Thanks brett , i added the code and the registration should be working again!

Now i just have to get a code to prevent spammers from registering, im looking, if you find something let me know brett.
