Has anyone used the water/methanol combo from Snow Performance on their '93's? Was it worth the $? Thanks!

Are you referring to using it with a boosted combo?

I hear it makes a difference, but from what I read at Kenne Bell, you have to get the right jet for your setup, and retune for the meth injection. Problem is if you let it run out, then you are tuned wrong. If you are getting detonation, maybe an intercooler is in your future. What octane fuel are you using with 11lbs of boost? Any addatives?

Well, if I were you I would just get a different pulley. That T-trim is not even feeling that 11 lbs of boost, crank it up to about 15. Of course, if you still have the stock block, you are probably already close to the edge with your current combo. What kind of power are you currently making?

yeah the meth will work but like the above poster mentioned you would be better off pulley'ing the t trim up more. That way to much blower for a 11 psi combo.

Also like someone else mentioned you would need a whole new tune becuase the meth kits cause the engine to go off the a/f scale rich

The block is stock, along with heads, etc. I am using 91 fuel, is that high enough octane? I have not had it on the dyno, was thinking about taking it down and having everything ran through to double check. 93inAZ, can you recommend a shop in Phoenix? Thanks!

11lbs of boost sounds like alot for 91 octane acording to what I have read (Im certianly not an expert, just read alot)

If you are looking for the best dyno tune around take it to Arizona Dyno Chip, Keith is THE man when it comes to tuning, especially Mustangs. He can even burn you a custom SCT chip. He has all of the right equipment and he is very knowledgable, I have personally seen him take an '05 Mustang with a Vortech from 418hp when it came to 501hp when it left 3 hours later, it just depends on how far off your current tune is. Tell him that Greg sent you!
