Custom Billet parts - by drkhrse

Post by drkhrse »

Hey guys, some of you have been asking about parts I have made. Although I don’t have ready access to a CNC mill any longer I can still get parts made local. I'll post pics up and look to see what I have left some of you may want.

Here is one of the center caps currently on my street car, Teal one. It is machined form 6061 Aluminum, I then filled in the snake with JB weld and machined it smooth. The snakes on my car are directional as the backwards one on the DS always drove me nuts. If you notice the cap is in two pieces, the center spins so you can always have your snaked up right for shows/pictures!

I bet they would look good on my polish wheels. How much for the center caps?

drkhrse, could you reproduce or make originals of the plates below for the 1993 cobra.

Like I said in the initial post, I don’t have a CNC of my own to run currently, I’d have to pay someone to do most of it. That being said, they will cost more than a set of new wheels. If anyone is serious I can look into it closer. Also keep in mind you have to drill and tap 3 holes in your wheels to attach them.

Those plates are silkscreened, I have a buddy who does shirts I can ask him if he can print on aluminum. If he can I'll see what I can do. I would like one for myself too, 8)

Here are some parts I currently have to part with. I made these plate frames a bunch of years ago for some guys on SVTp for their Terminators, however they are on both my Cobra’s as well. I only have these 4 left that I can find. They are machined from a solid of 3/16” 6061-T6 aluminum, I had the blanks made and anodized then engraved them myself. You won’t find a more unique or higher quality plate frame out there. I’ve made a lot of these over the years, I’ll post up some pics of them to show later. I really need my own CNC mill....

The Black (SOLD) and Clear (SOLD) anodized ones with snakes are SOLD OUT.

The Red ones are $40 each shipped (US only).

We still have some lights but a lot has changed, mainly the price! I'm not on board with the recent price hike and am selling all my older inventory on eBay at ~my cost. After we get the inventory cleared I'll only carry limited stock, I will be creating a new website one of these days. Most of the ones you probably see or from the new single source US distributer that I now have to buy from. Sorry for the rant, hit a sore spot....
