Agreed. That is one of the most thorough restorations of a late-model Mustang I've ever seen.

Yes, the car was Beat badly! I found 4993, and this one was on e-bay the same week. Would have bought them both, but 19 was just to rough.

They did a nice job restoring it, few things are incorrect, such as the under hood is not the right color red, should be the dark red, Alternator has a Gold Zinc Fan blade, should be black, and it is all missing alternator fan shroud.

I would think with sourcing the NOS steering wheel, and new Wheels, they would have found a correct F3ZZ alternator belt, instead of a Motorcraft replacement.

Also, I think the Drivers door molding, and fender extension are badly aligned, I always put my skirts on first, then the door molding so I know they line up perfect. For a restoration this extreme, More detail should have been taken with the whole car.

When and if I restore one to that extent, it will be as close to perfect as you can get!

Oh, I am not diggin the blue thermostat housing gasket either, you can still buy the OEM Gray gasket from ford, why use a blue autozone gasket? If your going to restore one to OEM specs, do it right!

Oriellys sells a dark colored gasket, or just spay a coat of black paint on it and trim it so there isn't any excess hanging out.

If you got the ford racing water pump still, they come with the correct Gray/black gaskets.

I don't have issues with blue gaskets on a every day build, but if you say something is restored, it should be done correctly. Especially that car.

I just bought a thermostat housing gasket from ford last week, also a timing cover gasket. If you buy a motorcraft reman water pump they come with the correct gray/black gaskets in the box with the pump.

I don't think you can buy just the gray gasket for the water pump, just the housing gasket, and the timming cover gasket. is still avalible, well as of last week.
