New Cobra owner!!!!!

Hello all. Very happy to say that after 20+ years of wanting a Fox Mustang that I am now the proud owner of a 1993 Teal Cobra with gray cloth interior and sunroof. She has 29,998 miles on her and is as clean as you could possible want. 100% original except for the tires, even has the airbox silencer in place.

I have had numerous Mustangs but never a Fox Body even though I grew up wanting one. I owned a 96 Cobra Vert as my first Mustang and a 2007 GT Vert as my first new Mustang. Since the 07' I have had 3 2011 Shelby's, 1 2012 and 3 2013 Shelby's and a Boss 302 in every color but Grabber Blue. I also had a Laguna Seca Boss and several Roush Stage 3's. Last Thanksgiving I wrecked my newest Shelby pretty badly and decided I was done with Mustangs.

Now I am back and more excited about this purchase then any other Mustang purchase sine this is the car I begged my Parents to let me get as a 16 year old kid, and of course was told it was never going to happen. I used to go to the Ford Dealer every weekend and test drive the 1992-1993 GT Vert's and torture myself and beg and beg my Parents. After all these years I decided it was time to finally get one and I couldn't be happier about it!

I don't know much about the car yet as far as number produced etc, I just purchased it yesterday and now must wait to have it shipped from CT to FL. The person who owns it now has had it 17 (ish) years and has been storing it in a climate controlled garage for the last several years. He did not want it to roll to 30k miles.

Plans are to keep the car stock when I get her and try with all I have to leave her that way. I have never been able to leave a single car I have owned stock before so it will be a challenge, however, I feel that since she has been stock all these years I should leave her that way too. Going to change all the fluids, put some new tires on her and drive her as much as I can. Clean her up and make her look as perfect as possible and just sit with a stupid grin on my face for a very long time.

So anyway, if you made it this far into my post, thanks for reading. I look forward to meeting as many of the Members here as possible and look forward to asking all the newbie questions as I move along the process of making her perfect (which shouldn't take much) but I want her to look as good as new or better.

I have a Buddy who used to own a Teal. I like it very much. I am not a black car guy (way to anal for that) and I love the car in red but really wanted Metallic paint, so that left me with Teal.

Any idea on a way to easily find out production number? Just looked at the listing here and didn't see the car listed yet. The Guy who owns it now doesn't have the SVT certificate, he does have the window sticker. I plan on ordering the SVT certificate if you can still so that?

The last of the VIN are 142358 if anyone can help.

Thanks everyone! Setting up transport now, trying to get it before next weekend and in an enclosed trailer so hard to nail down an exact date for pick up. Very much looking forward to that first drive though!

I was right there with you brother back in 1993 just wishing and dreaming of a 93 Cobra like most people on here most of us were in HS with know way of affording one and no way of convincing parents to buy one. I remember seeing a Teal Cobra pass me as I was broke down on the loop in town back in 93 as he came around me geared down and gassed on it. I just stood there in amazement watching him haul a$$ thinking man some day I hope to have one just like it! That memory has stood with me to this day so 20 years later I too bought my own 93 Teal Cobra. Welcome to the club brother!
