93 Cobra Values "fully loaded" verses "plain"

Post by JohnLynch »

I think we had this convo on here before so if we have please disregard this one and combine it. Just wanted to kick it back up to the top.

Which are and will be worth more down the road?

A fully loaded car, i.e. leather, cd, defrost, sunroof or one without all that, i.e. black cloth, gray cloth cars with our without sunroof??

I know its all subject but wasn't sure if anyone has any hard sales data or "time on the market"

My unscientific opinion is that the few options on the '93 Cobra don't have a large impact on their values one way or the other. The only color/interior that seems to carry a little more value/desirability than the others is the teal/black (regardless if it comes with or w/o sunroof, CD, power seat, etc.) probably because only 185 out of 4993 came that way from the factory.

Of course, IMO the most valuable Cobra of all is the BLACK one sitting in my garage!!

I see more cars with all the options than cars with no options.
So i'd say the less options the more $$$. But if were talking 10-20 yrs down the road then i don't think it will matter.

Any 93s with black interior. Also the 93r. Lower options the better.

I don't feel it will matter. In 20 year good luck on finding one, besides in my garage.
