Ya Esco changed that out. Db I seen that too but it's the same thing that wraps the upper rad hose. Line workers first day maybe???

Thought from your pic that maybe it was done after you sold it. Fine example of a stock engine compartment.

Anyone have a close up of the rubber distributor cover? I am trying to find one but am coming across alot with 5.0 and Ford stamped in them. I want an original and want to know what they look like.

Willy did you add the Black flex tubing around the two foam insulators?
on the back of the engine where it's real close to the intake

not a very good description of the part I know!

noticed mine was split in the back the other day so I super glued the rip back together!
if that is factory that would help cover and protect the split

also found out John had a alarm system put on the car also and need to pull that all out,
just need to make sure I'm not removing anything important!

Bromebe, if you want that 100% stock engine appearance, you need to get an ignition coil cover.
