Sadly I have not seen a 93 cobra on the road in at least 5 years or more...I hardly ever see fox bodies anymore, which is one reason I want to own one again. The newer models are great but they're a dime a dozen and most people don't notice. A nice fox stands out.
I'm also chomping at the bit to see the first 2015s when they start rolling hopefully sometime in early fall.
You prob won't see mine this year. Too much going on, I might not even take it out.
That's a bummer. In a normal year how many miles do you put on it? How often do you go for a drive? That an open question to anyone on the board if you want to answer.

Anywhere from 150-500 depending on the car for the year. I try to be be fair towards them all. lol

I fully agree! 15 years ago 5L LX's and GT's were on used car lots everywhere around my area! I remember just 10 years ago you might see a really nice Fox every once in a while but almost daily you could spot some clapped out 4 cyl LX or ragged out GT some one was using as a daily....but now you don't even see those "beater" Foxes anymore. Kinda sad.

No such thing, DB. There's always a little time to take that Cobra for a quick spin if you really want to.
Funny I was driving home a few days ago and saw a black 91-93 GT with grey leather coming up in the rear view. I got over in the right hand lane turned off the radio and put down the window and the girl said what happened, I said hold on I need to hear this. She was like oh a mustang what year. Then I had to say 87-93 until he passes I cant tell until I see the steering wheel then I can narrow it down to 91-93. It was clean and not ragged out, it was a stocker down to the 2.25 turn down tailpipes. Needless to say it is nice to see them out on the road its just a rare bird now.
Where I'm at... the only ones that are rare are the cobras. And there's not as many unmolested around. There's still quite a bit tho. There's ass loads of modded and even more Rustangs!
Saw first cobra of the spring. Looked like a 13 or 14 GT500. Black with black stripes. Didn't realize the black had stripes on it. Glad they were muted, looks cleaner to me. Cobra badges on fenders were huge and you could see Brembo on the calipers even at 40 mph roll. Pretty sweet. Sounded good when he got on it but pretty quiet otherwise.
With those sick LED taillights I'd be driving with the driving lamps lit all the time but every 13 or newer I've seen they never have them on.
I saw my first 93 Cobra in person (other than my own) just the other week and it was a teal just like mine. I got a little excited cause like I said, I have neer seen another one around here (Mass). Then last weekend when I was driving the cobra on rt 24 N heading to a charity event in Quincy, some guy in an x3 or x5 sped up to me and looked excited while yelling something and giving me a thumbs up on my car. Other than the rare thumbs up the car doesn't really grab anyone attention. I guess there aren't as many car guys out there as you think. Which makes sense to me because not one of my friends are into cars. They give me crap about my car, they just don't get it.
