Another lowering question: I have posted this on multiple sites, so some of you may see it more than once. For those that cut their springs, how much did you have to cut to get it to sit level? I would like to level my car out but don’t know how to go about it. I see people put lowering springs on, but the front is always lower. I want it lower (if I can) but level. Will GT springs level it out? My plan is to purchase some used 4 cylinder springs and cut them instead of cutting my stock ones. Is there a lowering spring that will get it low but level? I would love to have maybe an inch gap between the tire and fender well…
One more question/statement, I have Pirelli tires on my car, they drive horrible, and it darts all over the place. Is it the tires? They are 245/45/17, but I measured the width, and its 9 inches (isn’t the rim like 7.5) I see some tires on the forums that hardly have any bulge on them with the same size tire, would the excess bulge cause my car to wander all over imperfect roads? These tires gets zero traction, they spin so easily when I take off, barely giving it gas. Anyone run Pirelli and what are your thoughts.
