flickering headlights

my car just started a new trick! lol the headlights started flickering the other night the dash lights would stay on and the marker lights just the headlights would flicker is it possibly the head light switch? has this happened to anybody else?? and if it has how did yo fix it?

I've had the same problem before, it is the headlight and foglight switch.

The connector for both of them usually would melt, check that first.

I was looking over your post and I think you have the same problem I had. It was described to me that Ford had somewhat of a flaw in the wiring to the light switch. I'm willing to bet you were driving for a while at night with both your head and foglights on. The current coming to the switch is too much for it to handle for long periods of time. Just like yours my headlights would flicker and cut off. I found a remedy to this problem on corral.net. Look up this site below and follow his instructions. I did and haven't had this problem since.

Just checking to see if this fixed the problem. If there is anyone else that tried this tell us how it turned out.

I havent gotten to it yet i am in the marines so im training right now but i will get to it saturday and let you know how it goes thank you very much
