I'm very happy I pulled the trigger on it, still got a lot of work to do but in the end it'll be one of a kind. Yes I will put a blower back on, I was thinking about a YSI so I can keep everything under a stock hood.casper wrote:I almost bought this car, had gun loaded, trigger cocked, on my way and had to unload. u got a nice car for great price all top notch stuff there. Re: 93 Cobra Coyote Swap Build Thread
I'm in Frisco, if you ever go on DFWMustangs I've posted a few pics of it here and there. Yes we built it in our garage, what a project that was lol. No build thread, we kind of kept it to ourselves. If you ever go to Cars & Coffee in Plano he usually takes it out there.HMGARCIA wrote:NICE!!!!

Re: 93 Cobra Coyote Swap Build Thread
Unfortunately no I have not had time to work on it. I've been slammed at work with big builds and awful deadlines. I plan on getting to it after the 1st. It'll get done all in due time and I will keep updates/pics coming.TFStang wrote:Any more progress?

It is indeed, but I always get just a bit queezy when I see someone doing a lot of modding on what will be a classic in coming years. A little reversible stuff, no problem, but a major transformation like this, I almost want to say get a GT and just put repro cosmetics on it if you want it to look like a Cobra. I know it is none of my business, but I just hate to see a 93 Cobra changed so much.
Good luck anyway, it is going to be a hell of a ride, that is certain!
Build #873. Red / Opal cloth. 105 K miles. Original owner, bought from Colley Ford in Glendora CA.

I always say that , especially like it when guys "smooth" their engine bays, that's pretty irreversibleJohnLynch wrote:X3, makes ours more rare!
Re: 93 Cobra Coyote Swap Build Thread
That is a good way of looking at it! Everyone obviously has the right to do with their car what they wish. I just see heavily modding a 93 Cobra as similar to having a teenage daughter come home with a new tramp stamp tattooed on her back... OK for some girls but not my daughter!JohnLynch wrote:X3, makes ours more rare!
