Seat looks great and that chassis detail is insane..I'm big on detailing the chassis on all my cars but you took it up sevral notches...Heck of a job.

Right now, Im in this... having fun mood. If that's the way to put it.LOLbuddha wrote:Cool. Are you going to do anything to the drivetrain while its out?BrettT 93|03 wrote:Thanks guys. Next winter I have plans on pulling the motor and trans and fulling detailing the engine bay. Really haveiing a blast with this car.
So Yep, Buddha. Ive been thinnking hard on doing a complete 347 stroker intake to oil pan. Talking out of my a$$ right now.

I would not touch the motor in the car now. I would pull it from intake to oil pan and take nothing off of it. Just put in on the stand. I would purchase an addtional time cover, fuel rails, distributor, and oil pan for the other motor.
But, not sure what to do. As Im kinda pumped and re-living some of my days from working on a fox body. I really want to keep the car as close to orginal as possible. Thats' the one thing I liked about this particular one. It is nearly all orginal. For the exseption of the cat=back and the front head lights and the NOW the fact I just put springs and CC plates on. The rest is untouch. I think you could agree, if I just pull a motor and put one in. Should be now big deal. But as you can see I have reservation in what I want to do. I really apprectiate this car alot.
I will not race the car. But, think that a nice all motor car makeing anywhere from 360-400hp on the street will be... well.. kick a$$.

I would say if you do build the motor, it would make it a nasty street car. Like you said about your 1992 once you got started you couldn't stop, so you may still have the same disease with this one.

Thanks, Real happy with it. I could off done some serious detailing. But, I wouldnt have it finsihed in time for the summer. I would of liked to fully clean the chassis.RollTide93 wrote:Turned out really well, paint looks very nice too.
Thanks, Willy! Going to a car show in a couple of weeks. May have to take a tire off to brag.WillyB93 wrote:Man defiantly looks better!

You can't go wrong. I didn't think I would go this way with this car. But after riding it this pass weekend. This is the best thing I did. I really think that everyone with a mid-high mileage car should do this and with the little mod of H&R sport springs and Tokico Blues. I highly recomend! The ride is unblievable. I was hitting over 70mph on some curves. The car stayed flat with NO roll and very nice ride characteristics. No stiff or bumpy ride. Very very nice ride. Better then new!SVT93CobraGuy wrote:Looks really good man. Some inspiration for what I need to do now, ha ha.
Thanks, Congrats your car. Like the Wheels!!!! I had all the suspension stuff powdered coated for $250. The 250 I ever spent.R_Williams wrote:Car looks great. I think Im gonna do something along the same lines as you with mine.
They are the orginal 150k mile seat covers. This is another must do for any mid-high mileage cobra that has a little of a BUTT (imprint)..... as I would put. Over all the seat cover is nice for that kinda of mileage.93vnm wrote:Looks great man! Doing a great jog on it? Is that a replacement seat cover or the original??
I used TMI seat cushions.
I know the guy with the black on black car with all the mods was talking about refreshing up his car a bit for a big show in your area later this fall. He said he has won second place with his car the last two years, so he wanted to freshen it up to try and win first this year!!
