I'm flying delta, my real budget was $12k and I am staying really close to it.trackpilot wrote:Who are you flying on?MJH wrote:I am a little worried about the drive back, I have to get up at 2am to leave for the airport. I will be leaving Fl hopefully by 12pm so I don't think I will be able to drive the whole 11 hrs. back Friday, but I don't want to park the car at a hotel either.
So did you get this car in your budget of under $13k?

No doubt a mint black car looks beautiful but it's such an unforgiving color it shows the smallest imperfection. I used to be afraid to even wash my black Cobra. LOL.

Pretty understandable that you associate black and chrome with the good ol days, seeing as you're stuck with an orange (Oops, sorry. I meant vibrant red!) ride. Also, that's nice that black and chrome Cobras remind you of high school ... your parents must have been loaded and sent you to private school. I don't remember any HS kids driving such nice cars in public school.dbrennancobra wrote:

Most blacks have imperfections of some sort its kind of expected these daysvinchez78 wrote:True about the imperfections on a blk Cobra, mine still has the original paint but it rough lookin, I'm getting it painted in the spring then I'll definitely be paranoid to take it out, but, oh well.
