Well I finally found a little time to work on the car. As everything else has gone, it has been smooth but with little things that have to be trimmed and adjusted.

Here are some progress pictures

About to try to install from underneath.

Not looking so good:

Let's try it a little different this time around. I removed the throttle body and intake tube, as well as the cam covers.

May make it! Gotta see if I can move it around just a little to clear everything

Must have worked :)

I'll see if I can make some more progress tomorrow.

In addition to the motor install, I aligned the K Member to within spec. I will mark the frame rails to insure it will go in correctly on subsequent installs. That is if I let it town from the bottom again.

Little more progress, I do mean little but everything adds up I guess.

Couple of Motor shots first

Trial fitting the radiator hoses

Image

I have two options for the upper hose to work. One, use two hoses and splice with an adapter or; weld a 2" neck on the upper tank of the radiator. I will be choosing option 2. I don't want to have a two piece hose if I don't have to. Also, if I need to change the hose it will be a stock of the shelf hose.

Moved on to the front A-Arms and Coil overs. I drilled the spindle out for the bumpsteer kit as well. Everything is final torqued and set. I have ordered new bolts for the A-Arm to the K-Member. Technically they are a one use bolt so I decided to go off of the recommendation.

I decided to reassemble my race simulator as well. It is an exact replica of a Gen III/IV Viper. The shifter, steering wheel and pedals are all in the exact location of the Viper. All interior structure as well. I need to do the inside sheet metal and put the carpet in it but I have a bigger project working right now :)

Incredible photos! I thought I had a highly modified Cobra. That car is going to be intense. How much power are you expecting from the Coyote 5.0 with the supercharger?

Thanks, I am hoping an easy 600-650 at the wheel. I want it to be totally driveable and not worry about anything.
