Go to this web site and take a look....www.gmpdiecast.com. I have already ordered mine in black. It indicates an April release. I have found out that they are only making a certain number of each color. I live in the area of the facility and have offered to take my car to them. I actually helped them in determining that the stock valve covers are black and that there was no COBRA on the cover.

If you join "Toms Garage" I think you may be able to save a little money.

Because I was thinking that 100 was a little steep. there has also been a lot of discussion over at SVTperformance.com

GMP 93 Cobra Diecast Model

I have gone to GMP to meet some of the people there. They are great folks. I've seen some of the preliminary runs of the car and I just can't eait to get mine. I have only ordered the Black model, but the Teal and Red are great too.

I have also seen the quality of detail that is included with these cars and compared to other models, these are fantastic. The 93 Yellow LX Convertible even has retractable seat belts. Our 93 Cobra model will have floor mats, brake lines, working hand brake and other goodies.

Should any of you be in the Atlanta area on Feb 17 to 19th plan to attend the World of Wheels car show at the World Congress Center. I will be showing my 93 with our SVTOA-Atlanta Chapter. I am trying to arrange for a 93 R Model and a 2005 Ford GT owned by a local dealer to be displayed with our group. Hope to see you there.

I have received my model from GMP and it is great. The detail includes:brake lines, spark plug wires, serpentine belt, retractable seat belts, steering wheel that turns front wheels, radio antenna, rear hatch struts, mirror material in both outside mirrors, carpet and carpeted floor mats that have "cobra" on them.

For the $100.00 cost, you will be amazed.

My serial number is 0635. I will recommend that you purchase a display case if you are going to keep it nice. I took mine to work and everyone wants to touch it, open doors, hood and hatch. I show my Cobra at car shows, but I will have to display it inside the car with the car secured.

I have seen a 7" turntable and I may buy that.
