ha thats too cool
"he Cobra R may have been the ultimate Fox Body Mustang: It was a track day special with stiffer suspension, and power steering, A/C and rear seat were deleted to save weight. It sported about 30 more horsepower than the standard five-liter GT and was capable of near-13-second quarter-mile times out of the box. Sadly, it has been left in the dust by more recent Shelby and Boss 302s. Only the most dedicated Mustang fans remember the ’93 Cobra R, and for now, they’re a bargain."
^^^ the "AND FOR NOW" is the key word

I kinda agree with a bargin, I bet theses R's will hit the 100k mark in the future. But what cars they are comparing it against, since 93 R's are roughly going for 50-60k, I don't think the editor knows what the hell he's talking about.
Also the other cars he has on the page are like 7-10k at best. Rob Sass officially doesn't own a cobra!

quick rundown of their top 5
1.1996-99 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi
2.1990-95 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible
3.1993 Ford Mustang Cobra R SVT
4.1992-94 Porsche 968
5.1990-1999 Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR4
well the main thing the 93 cobra has been getting some press, fox news, yahoo, and car and driver. I hope it makes the prices skyrocket!

Not sure of the web site but I saw a R with 54 or 56 miles the other day for $109,000. I'll look again. I was looking for my wife's new day driver 84 300zx turbo.

Yea. They might have been better off just mentioning the 93 Cobra instead of the R version.
