So my wife found this one, sold to a carmax in Kearny Mesa, california. San Diego county. All she got of the vin was p42d8pf137121. Supposedly only 70k on the clock. The store bought it for $7500. Interior is spotless, exterior looks ok. Has ugly cobra rims and missing fog lights, front end doesn't seem to line up so might be aftermarket or it was hit.

A salesperson is going to buy it and probably flip it on craigslist. I will try and track it down hopefully it goes to a good home. I want to buy it but I just bought #923 and my wife would be pissed. Haha.

I hate when people just try to make a dollar off of these beautiful cars, it just adds more owners to the list and decreases the value anyway.

Not a problem. All genuine 93 Cobras will have "1FACP42D*PF******" in their VINs. What's between the D and P and the six numbers after the F that varies among these cars.

A very high likelihood considering Dutch Harbor is on an island closer to Russia than the continental U.S. Amazing some of the places these Cobras have been!

Good to know guys, hopefully I can make it out to look at it tomorrow. If the sales guy is going to flip it is anybody interested? Don't know what price he will be looking for maybe between 8 to 10k. Il take some more pics tomorrow if I see it.
