This Mecum auction was a very good place to sell.

I'd take it. Of course it was my fifst Stang, so it would have sentimental value. Looked just like that, unless of course you count the porno red tweed interior. Only had the 85 mph speedo too.
Both those cars are outstanding examples, and look to have been stored correctly from day one.

Best you could do past that was watch the tach and calc the RPMs to speed.

Uh ... wouldn't that be a little hard to do while blasting down the road with the speedo needle pinned?

LOL................after the fact my freind. 5500 rpm in 4th gear on a 26" tire and a 3.08 gear was around 135ish IIRC.
