Wrong intake strange!

So it's been a long time since I owned my GT. Is the intake wrong or just the plaque?

Probably had a cobra, or some other intake installed early and got rid of the original, and this was all he could find to, now to replace it.

It's likely just the plaque. The mass air sensor is from the '89-'93 V8 motors. The 86 engine would not have the MAF.

Is the intake on the 86-93 all the same? They just changed the plaque between 86 and 87?

That intake looks rough and has junk yard markings.

So does the exhaust, really makes me wander if it was a roller and put a motor in it to flip it.

Correct.

The cylinder heads were changed in '87 to raise hp from 200 to 225. And the MAF sensor was added to CA Mustangs in 88 and all Mustangs in 89. The intakes remained the same for 86-93.
