1993 Cobra Registry

How much would an '89 5.0 LX hatch 5 spd car with 80k miles be worth? It's a one owner, no accident, no paint work, all vin tags present, 100% stock car.
I found this car that matches my VERY FIRST car that i bought back in high school in '97. It's the exact same from the color exterior and interior to the same optional GT seats. I've always missed that car and have looked for one off an on and finally found one!
So i just want to make sure that my feelings aren't getting in the way and make me pay too much. So what do you guys think it's worth?

BTW my wife thinks it's ugly and thinks i should just get another '93 Cobra. But i don't care i love it, even with it's 15" 10 hole wheels!!!!

Does $6K sound reasonable?

Between 5-6 hatch cars are about the bottom of the value charts as far as Fox cars go. Cobras and Coupes carry the most value with GT's after that followed by verts and hatch cars from my experiences.

Yeah i was thinking it was only worth $6-7k. But i'd be in it for $8,500 after i got it shipped to FL. So i'm not sure.

On a sidenote... Do you guys know if all LX cars back then had the black trim moulding around the cars or were some available in body color? This one has the black moulding but my car back in highschool was painted body color.

92-93 are painted 87-91 were black

I knew my old car had been wrecked before but didn't know the whole body was repainted. I sorta like the all body color mouldings though.

Not an option. The only option avail. that year with regard to the bodyside moldings was an insert stripe.
