Just picked this up low mile quick little ride. I've had about 15 of them and the Syclones always liked them.

I love them. The fastest stock Syclone I owned ran 8.11 in the 1/8th with nothing but the filter pulled out. I had a Ty with built motor that ran a 6.98 at 103 in the 1/8th. Most stock Sy's pull low 8's in the 1/8th and stock Ty's mid 8's Pretty quick for twenty years ago.

Nice ride! Did you pick it up to keep or is it on the block?

These last FOREVER too. My neighbor has a Hunter Green Typhoon with 240k miles on it. It still pulls really good!

Cool rides. I think the SY/TY and GN's are the few GM's I'd like to own.

That is Niiiiice, what's the gas mileage, and do they have a 5 speed manual?

No only auto.

C'mon, Vin! Are you really asking about gas mileage in a 20-yr old vehicle with a turbo V6 putting out 280 hp and 360 lb ft torque?
Here's the short answer - Not good.

Its probably not to bad when driven normal, I think they were like 14 city and 17 highway. But if you babied it I bet it would do 20 hwy.

Like I said - Not good.
The only way you'd get a 20-yr old Typhoon to get 20+ mpg is to turn it off and coast downhill.

I looked at 93 try window sticker and shows 14 /18 . 18 is not far from 20.

Indeed it is. Like I said - not good.
Anyways, my point is if you're looking to buy a Typhoon you shouldn't be asking about the mpg.
