Hey all... well i just wanted to share this little story..

when i was 14 while attending car shows with my grandfather, i wanted a nice little project to get my feet wet in restoring a car and learning the basics of body work, interior add on stuff, detailing, etc...

so i purchased a 72 VW Super beetle when i was 14.. sold it at 17. made a 3 grand profit. and had fun doing it. Won multiple car shows, and was featured in VW TRENDS magazine.

well i sold it to a fellow in tilton NH who he owned it for 13 years now.. until this happend. This was his letter telling me its totaled.

6k by a BIG bodyshop or insurance estimation, go to a mom and pop shop or do it yourself and probably less than half.
