1993 Cobra Registry

So I had some time on my hands today, and my curiosity about this car (supercharged V8, 640hp, Brembo brakes, magnetoheleological shocks, 0-60 in 3.6s, 1/4 mile in 11.8s @ 124 mph, etc., etc.) got the best of me. So a test drive was in order.

This car is unbelievable!! For a 4000 pound sedan, it is wickedly fast and one of the most entertaining cars I've driven in a long while. I've been a fan of supercharged V8s for quite some time, but this ride takes that to a whole other level. For some serious fun behind the wheel, I highly recommend a test drive.

Did you know that engine is used for a 627 hp outboard boat motor? The newest upgrade from the 557hp.

I knew the motor is used in the Corvette ZO6, but not in a boat. A boat with that motor must be one hell of a fun ride as well.

Shelby Stanga from the tv show AxeMen has that engine in his aluminum jet boat.

A good friend of mine sold his V for a Shelby. He said it was like driving a fast couch... Too cushy. The Shelby was much more raw and fun in his opinion.

I'm guessing your friend had a '15 or older V, not the 2016 model.
