It is time for me to put up my 93 cobra for sale. It quite possibly could be the highest mileage 93 cobra in existence with over 287,000 miles. The first owner used it as a commuter car for years racking up all of the freeway miles. I have spent a lot of money and time replacing all of the springs, shocks, bushings, control arms, driveline, clutch fluids etc. This thing drives like it did in 1993. All of the components replaced were with quality Ford Motorsport parts along with Tokiko shocks. I have all of the original parts that I have replaced.

The motor, transmission and rear end is completely original and the valve covers have never been off the car. It has run Mobil 1 synthetic since day one. This is a numbers matching car and I have all of the documentation including the original window sticker.

The interior has been restored and is in immaculate condition. I have had the car for three years and have never had a problem. The car runs great. The only modification that it really has is a pair of flowmaster mufflers. I do have some extra factory parts as well as an extra set of original wheels.

I would like $14,000 for the car but am negotiable on price.

Am I correct in thinking the car has been repainted? And is that the original hood?

The hood and paint are original. It is not anywhere near a show car as it has it's share of paint chips and scratches for 287,000 miles but in all not in bad shape.

#1866 is still for sale and the price has been reduced now to $12,900 obo.

Hood is not original, has an R dot sticker next to driver hood Hing, and no vin sticker on passenger fender, I'd bet the front bumper is missing vin tag also, which would lead to say this car has been painted, at least the front clip, also the seats are wrong color, looks like 92 titanium not opal.

Actually I see another R dot sticker behind the rubber hood stoper. So hood and fender have been replaced.

Yea those are Ford Dot parts so no way its original paint.

I am the third owner of this car. The second owner told me the story he got was that the first owners son was using the car to commute to college and supposedly ran into one of the concrete posts in the parking lot. Yes it appears the hood and fender have been replaced at some point.

The second owner gave me the Carfax reports he pulled up. It documents that the odometer has rolled twice but does not indicate that it has ever been in an accident.

The seats are TMI replacement coverings.
