The 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra “R” model was a street legal race-oriented pony car built by Ford Motor Company through the “Special Vehicle Team” (SVT) division. Using the “Fox” body platform, the Cobra “R” is a high-performance version of the Mustang built by Ford in the performance range above the Mustang GT model. The Cobra “R” was a VERY low production run of only 107 total units! This specific rare and highly collectible Cobra “R” is available right now at Happy Days Dream Cars; it is car #23 (Order type: Special Purpose Vehicle, DSO #1023). With only 41k low miles, this car offers a no frills all thrills high performance driving experience via lots of power lots of torque. Built at the historic Dearborn, Michigan plant in April 1993, car came equipped with the bullet-proof 5.0 Liter EFI SHP Cobra V8 engine (one of Ford"s all-time favorite Blue Oval hallmark power plants). The car condition is immaculate; retaining its factory original state and fully documented for authenticity by a Deluxe Kevin Marti Report. From a performance standpoint, the mighty 5.0 V8 could send the Cobra “R” through the quarter mile in 14.5 seconds at a top speed of 98mph with acceleration from zero to 60mph in 5.9 seconds! In all, 4,993 hatchback models were built in 1993, 107 were the unique and desirable Cobra “R” model like the one before you today! Please note it is very rare that these highly collectible Cobra “R” models come up for sale.

Neither will give an accurate value, only what to old guys drinking to much scotch will try to make each other pay.

You sure, Admin? Considering how many cars are bought and sold at auction, maybe the "too much scotch" method will give a more accurate value than you think.

Not me but I've seen it many times.

Man that delco battery will make more HP. I think this is the one Stilles had werent the door panels like that?

It will be interesting.....I tried to look it up at the Auction Site, and it isn't listed yet......This would be a great car for someone wanting an 1993R to drive......I would "gestimate" Mid-30's???? Am I close??????? No mention of condition, or documentation.......Should we start a betting Pool on this one?????

It only brought like mid 30's on ebay if I remember correctly. Non original motor.

This car is actually car #19. Wonder who they get to research their cars?

hey Z why does the R have the early intake when it was built 04/27/93 about the same as the 2400 cars?
