1993 Cobra Registry

The last few times I've driven 2751 I've noticed a rougher stiffer ride. At first I thought
I was getting flat spots on the tires from not driving it much. After paying closer attention I noticed the front lowers 1-2 inches after driving and after I park it and about 20 minutes it raises back to normal height. I can pop the hood and push on the radiator support and it's super stiff and stays down for a few minutes before it raises back up. I'm assuming the struts are going bad?? If so how hard are they to change and what do you guys reccomend replacing them with. The car is bone stock and I prefer it to stay that way.

Can someone help this guy? How do you know when your original struts are bad?

Usually struts are either stuck and won't move or the are leaking and you will see oil around the top seal leaking out and tunning down the housing.

Thanks John and Admin. After a couple of weeks and no reply I went ahead and changed the struts out. Just figured thats's what it had to be. Fixed my problem and made it ride better. I put monroes on. I guess they were a good replacement? Kept the originals just in case it mattered when I sell it one day. Thanks again guys

I would say if you cant fix the originals toss them but some on here would keep them (packrats) my garage isnt big enough for a parts dept.
