door hinge and bushing kit

Just ordered this from LMR , my door doesn't sag too bad, but I can tell it does just a little and it drives me loco, has anyone here done this replacement?? Oh and I ordered the latch Stryker as well

It's not too bad to do if you are handy working on cars, if not you might be able to find a body shop to do it pretty decent.

How bad are the hinge's, has the bushing wore completely out and into the hinge? If so you will be better off getting the hinge repaired, my body shop buddy welds them back up and re- drills the holes for the bushing.

They're not bad bad, however my OCD called me and told me it drops a little, so I would feel better knowing my cobra has new door hinge part thingies :boobs:

Good to catch it now before it does what I was talking about, it makes it a PITA to repair.

If your bushings are still solid, the best thing to do is remove the inner fender liner, loosen up the bottom three bolts on the door hing, leave one a little snug, and lift up on the door till it shuts nicely!

This will last another 5 to 10 years, as long as the bushings have minor ware. If they are shot, I always use bigger bushings, as the resto bushings are not an exact thigh fight.
