Wheel Width

After looking at Escogt 85 GT I'm thinking about upgrading my 93 GT with Pony R wheels. My question is in regards to how wide of a wheel I can use in the back without modifying the car (including not having to flip the quad shock). There are three 4 lug options for this wheel 17x8, 17x9, and 17x10. I'd love to go with a 17x10 with 265s in back, but I'm worried they wont fit. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Most replica wheels, including the pony Rs, are available in multiple sizes.

I would go with 17x9's with a 275/40 tire for a great look & no necessary mods.
I had 17x10's in the back of my '81, but had to cut the lips to prevent slicing my 285/40 NITTO's.

Damn, Esco! You've been holding out on us. We've seen your 85 and the SVO, and that '81 is sweet! Any others you've yet to show us?
