Time for a new Radiator!

I went to pull my car out of the garage to give her a bath and noticed something dripping. Checked the hoses and the water pump but they were dry. I haven't pulled the radiator yet, but I'm pretty sure it will need to be replaced. leaking water from the passenger side bottom corner. I'm unsure of what brand it is, but it looks like a cheap one. I was thinking I would ask for some opinions on this. I don't have a lot of money, and I know most of you guys are partial to the Fluidyne brand, but I was thinking something cheaper.

Check your local auto parts stores for Aluminum direct replacement options, some real good deals and they will work just fine. My buddy picked up a Mishimoto (spelling?) and he's supercharged as well, no problems and been running it for a few years now....

Yup I like mishimoto stuff! Just bought a 160 deg tem stat love it. Cool as the other side of the pillow

Don't go with the champion 3 row, the previous owner of my cobra had one and it crapped out within 4 months , I'm like you, can't spend what I would like to on parts, but I bought a two row aluminum rad from American Eagle off of eBay, haven't had a problem with it yet

I would like to stick with the aluminum 3 core, I like the operating temps I get with the current 3 core, just not sure of the brand yet. do the mishimoto come with a lifetime guarantee? Does the American Eagle offer a 3 core?

Keep in mind I drive in Arizona, its hot here sometimes! The extra cooling capacity is nice for keeping temps down, that's why I like the 3 core.

Well I pulled the radiator... and my current rad looks just like the Champion I was looking at!! Now I don't like the Champion! am I going to have to break down and get a Fluidyne? The mishimoto rads are almost as much as the Fluidyne!
I don't want to be cheap! I want a good product that will last, and hold up to my abusive style of driving! lol

Yes American Eagle offers 3 row, if u don't want to spend an arm and a leg, u should look into it

I've run becool, fluidyne, mishimoto and never had a problem with any. Have a Mishimoto in my red car and so far so good. I think it's good choice if you're watching your penny's. Plus it has a lifetime warranty.
