Engine light

So it was raining today and I hit a pool of water and noticed the check engine light came on bout 30 seconds after
so I waited til I got home to shut it off, I turned the car back on and the light did not come on, was it possible I might ve "dislocated or dislodged" something temporarily?

Maybe a sensor got wet?

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Mine used to go on and off when I would hit a real bad bump.
As old as these cars are getting... Unless that light stays on, its gonna be a real bitch to triage.

Do have the factory airbox/silencer in place, or a conical type?

I got a fenderwell intake if that's what ur talking about?

Yup. I've heard that same thing happen to plenty of guys, no doubt has something to do with a bit water being pulled in, pre-MAF.
I wouldn't sweat it.
