Mobile Rim repair and paint/chroming

Anyone use these guys? Got an estimate over the phone to paint my cobra rims oem silver for $100 a wheel. They actually paint them on the car......

Make sure they apply clearcoat over the silver as well.

Yeah they are a few spots where my paint is showing its age. Does anyone have the OEM paint code that I could give him?

They refinish your wheels while still on the car huh? Sounds....interesting. Shoot, I'll come over to your house and spray bomb each wheel for $50 and save ya half!! :mrgreen:

youll get a better job if you hafe that side of the tire dismounted, so the paint covers all of the lip, then air the tire back up seat the bead, re install.

Yeah your right Kevin. I meant to ask about that. After I installed these factory gatorbacks I noticed the rim lip is exposed. This wasnt like this with those newer treads that were on the rims, they had part of the tire that curved out to cover that gap/lip.

He said he can pull the rims off if I want him too.

Does anyone have the factory paint code?

If you just let the air out of the tires you can use masking tape in the crack of the tire to make sure you get paint on the edge. A little extra time but makes it look better IMO.
