Water pump replacement

Buying a '93 Cobra that will need the water pump replaced. The car has other upgrades and I would like to upgrade the pump. I've been used to electrics with my race LX, I'm thinking of an Edelbrock or equivalent water pump.
I do not want to use OEM replacement.
Any input appreciated.

I'd recommend a Weiand high-volume mechanical water pump. Works great and helps keep my supercharged engine running cool.

Don't buy a ford racing pump, They are now made in China, have been for a while, but my last one only made it like 1000 Miles, startd leaking. so will go with Napa reman Ford one from now on, unless I can find NOS one.

There was a member here that sent an OEM one back in for a re-build, don't remember the person will search for the thread later.

I amcurrently running an Edelbrock Victor water pump, and it keeps the motor nice & cool. I have a Ford stock pump on the shelf in mt garage if I need to go pure stock.
