Repro - 1993 Cobra R stut braces

Post by drkhrse »

Progress has been slow this summer, as I have a lot of projects going on as usual. I plan to really get rolling on these braces in the coming weeks but need a count as to how many people are interested in them so I can order more material. I bought a 4 banger car to use as my welding fixture. Who wants one? I have three names on my list and will build extras, however the early birds get a better price.

I wont have a price till I see how much time I have in them. So far I have yet to get all the material. Work is crazy busy, I'll work on them as I can.

My teal car has Kenny Brown too, from a functional standpoint they are better than the ford version. The best, for function with coil-overs, is the Maier racing that I have on my 93R now. The ones I’m making are for 93R's who don’t have one any longer and clones.

I'll buy your kb strut brace but you have to throw in the rest of the car!

Are the repro 93 braces you are making going to have the brackets for the de-gas bottle?

Yes, that is the easiest part! If you notice my Maier racing has them already 8)

This is also the powder coat and color the repos will have. I bought it raw, added the de-gas bottle mounts then had it powder coated.
