Those work fine, but like said here before the black stripes are just vinyl pin stripe tape. Not painted on.

Did they really have a guy on the assembly line in 93 with a paint brush doing the stripes?

Also, they're not exact copies of the original Ford taillights. Check closely and you'll see the middle stripe of the bottom half of the eBay tailights runs all the way around the tailight assembly just like the top and bottom stripes. The middle stripe of the bottom half of the original tailight assemblies stops just after the assembly wraps around. Only the top and bottom stripes run the full length of the assembly.

I'm sure they had a precut mask that covered them while the stripes were sprayed.

Another note! they are not Black, never have been black, they are Ford Charcoal, bumper Color.

As for the tape, I have done at least 5 sets wtih these, I tape off the lense leaving the tape, then once the lense is taped off, I peel off the cheap pin tape, scuff the whole lense and then paint the whole thing, then un-tape the lense, the looke just like the originals once finished,

Oh, as for the middle stripe, just cut it in the same spot as the originals. Very easy to do.

The non-transparent plastic is dark grey charcoal. I've used the following SEM paint from LMR to make my aftermarket lens look more original. I feel it's pretty much exact.

I only painted the top, middle and bottom. I don't trust my ability to paint the stripes.

Here is my lens:

I can see in your pics what you mean about the stripes spacing being incorrect compared to the lights in your teal and the ones on the 93 wrapper. Maybe I can have my originals touched up or re-furbed?
