1993 Cobra Registry

Hello, I was wondering if it’s possible to install a sunroof on a car that didn’t originally come with one. Is there a company that can do this? I want a Cobra but finding one with a sunroof is not that easy.

Shaking my head , hoping your not serious. If so I would find a wrecked mustang with factory sunroof, cut it out, and have a very qualified body shop install it.

be patient and find one - just my opinion

My 2 cents...If Ford couldn't build a car form scratch with a sunroof that didn't leak them adding one wouldn't be a good idea...I would wait and find sunroof car before I considered cutting one. I like the sunroofs too but unfortunately my current Cobra doesn't have one.

I have heard from other Mustang gurus that a factory sunroof car has extra bracing/roof structure as opposed to a non-factory sunroof car..I don't know this for sure but Aaron will..He is the expert..and I mean that in a good/jealous way.

Cool, I was wondering about that. I think the sunroof adds a bit more style to the car. Never used to be a fan of them but I guess they are growing on me. I ws thinking of buying a GT with one and throwing cobra gndfx on.
Another question I have is, when replacing the front bumper cover, places only advertise GT covers instead of cobra. I guess this means you have to go out n buy the cobra grill insert then buy the front fender extensions too. Will the bumper cover match up to the front extensions? I know of only one place that sells original factory 93 cobra grnd fx.
