I bought it back in late 2008, I didn't think the fact that I sold it to you for a while was a big deal.

#4755, Never any accidents, Vintags on every panel. Mileage is showing 93K But was told it had flipped, I have never ran a Carfax on it. When I listed the car I posted the Vin for some reason it Did not show up, when I go back into ebay to try and put it back in it will not let me, nor will it let me add anything to the listing. Kind of wierd, never had this happen before. The original Block is Very clean, kind of makes me question the mileage, backthebadge wrote:Hey how many owners, what number is this one, what are the original miles, and any accidents?
When I sold the car to Darkhorse he may have ran a carfax on it. He may have input on Mileage. But everything on the car is pretty much new or redone. Motor is Low Mileage so no worries with that. Runs and drives out really nice. Motor was Complete Unit out of another wrecked 93 I bought.
X2, also I bet my neighbor is watching as he just picked up a restoration project.buddha wrote:I'm really curious to see how this car does. This will be what I consider to be a full "ground up" restoration of one of these cars on Ebay to an OEM finish.
With all the junk Foxes I see selling, I would hope this car does better than the norm.

Well I can tell you this, I do all my own work aside from Covering seats. I have close to 8K in parts alone, and if I had to pay someone to restore the car for me, I am sure I would be out another 6K or more. If he is looking to restore one, he might as well buy Mine or one that is already done.
Restoring a Fox is kind of like buying a new car, you loose half the vlaue driving it off the lot. People beat you up cause it was a rough car to begin gith, then they throw in the old I can buy a 70K mile car for around 14k and it is all original.
I say sure you can, but it is not in NEW condition, yes original, but with weak paint, and probabbly worn seats and chipped fadded wheels.
With that being said, if a Board Memeber is a SERIOUS buyer 11K will buy it NO BS aside, I am starting on my 66 Fastback In a few weeks, and just want to free up the funds for this one. If it werent for that I would keep it and Drive it this summer then sell it next spring.
Tell you friend if he is restoring one like this, and I mean all new NOS parts looks to put no less that 15K in the car possibly more, with Paint and body work.
