Really? He told me all vins were there and I didnt know what I was talking about when I asked if it had ben painted in the rear. He said it had never had any paintwork.

I looked into this car when it first came for sale, in the pictures I could never find the front VIN tag, the owner said he couldn't either. Then he just told me the car was not for sale anymore, he also said he was the third owner, it has 5 on a auto check report.

Fact is these cars are pushing 20 years and as collectible cars they do change hands quite a bit. The car I just sold had 16k miles, and 7 owners. Doesn't make it a bad car.

Yea the # of owners doesnt mean a thing to me. Most of the low mile cars have switched hands several times. And autocheck cant tell the difference if a car has been retitled to a new owner or just the same owner had to borrow money against it and had to have a new lein issued against it. I just had a one owner Viper that the guy had bought new, all paperwork, sales agreement ect and he paid cash for it but he used it a couple of times as collateral for other ventures so the title had to be reissued with leins both times and carfax and autocheck showed it as a 3 owner car.

Something's definitely wrong with this car!!! The Cobra and Ford emblems are a bit off.

Speedfreek I realize what you said about the reports but you can generally tell the difference! Another point is if a person moves to another state and retitled the car it shows a new title and owner.

Here is an old pic I have. It's located underneath....some have said they have seen it in the middle or on the otherside of the rear bumper also.

My black car has it on the inside lip by the right rear tail pipe, my teal is on the lower section like bretts but by the right tail pipe also.
