To each his own but it kills me to see what some people do to their cars. The price of an original car has to rise shortly with all these modded ones popping up. My baby has all its vin stickers and is 100% stock and thats the way its gonna stay

Original cars will always be worth more. Even a clean unmodded LX or GT.
Actually finding a stock regular Fox body is getting very hard despite the huge numbers built compared to Cobras. I have been watching the selling prices of original LX/GT cars its been a steady increase into the upper 5 digits and even a few over that.
Thats one of the reasons companies like NPD just released their FOX body restoration catalog

I think it’s 50/50 on this subject. Yes there is lot of people wanting all original cobra, GT, and LX but when they buy them, they start modded them. It might be just little things to major overhauling drive trains, I believe if you have a nice modded Cobra with tasteful upgrades it will still hold it value or sometimes get more $$$ than original.
