I told him at that price, them another 15K for a restoration, you still only have a 160K mile 93R and that is all that really matters at this time in life, now 30 years from now, no one will care, but right now the only questions asked is about miles.
$32k for a 160k? Man that's rough, R or not

I tried to explain that to him, he still thinks the 93R market is high, I also let him know about the one that sold for 34K he said what a steal, I think it was a good buy, but with the condition his is in, he needs to realize it is more of a 22K to 23K price car, it will need a total restoration. Plus it has has a door and a quarter panel replaced. So at best the car is a driver, restored or not.

I had the same interaction on the phone, good luck to him.

Yea that guy is proud of all his stuff. I think he wants 12k for that coupe. He claims he doesn't need to sell, but then he's listed every car he has for sale. Things that make you go hmmmmm

A wrapper 95R in low 20's??
A 100 mile 95R did 33k at mecum and a 900 mile car sold for 28 k privately.
They still have some value.
His car has like 6k miles if I remember correctly.

The 93R is probably worth $35-45K (depending on condition), the 95R as a wrapper is in the low $20's. I know a guy who just bought one for $25K.
