back on the topic this cobra has spent most its life in Massachusetts and from what I can see there looks like rust around the gas tank and a spot on the sunroof I would like to see more pics from underneath it

What spots on the sunroof? I see one spot on the Sunroof seal on DS, that looks like some dirt, but the Metal frame around the top Looks Brand new to me, All the black paint looks nice. Wish I was close, Id go look at it in person.

Guys these cars are 21 Years old, and getting hard to find low mileage cars in 100% Stock Form which this car is.

If we have a board member close to this car, Please go take a look at it, and get some good pictures, Only think I see needs fixed it the Door Stricker is missing the plastic around it. Like I said, If I had not bought two New Shelbys, Id already be working a deal, But 18.500 would be my best offer

I wonder why he took a chopped picture of the motor and left out the radiator support bar? Is it missing any vin stickers? Had any paintwork?

AC hose looks terrible and some rust in the bent of the tube.

Here is the response I received regarding the rust underneath;

Text me your number and reference the bottom and I will send a couple more pictures. I don't know what you are seeing but the bottom is clean as a whistle. I have somebody flying out today to look over the car and will get you a couple more pictures as I will be jacking up the car at that point. He is flying in so I want him to see everything.

* I am assuming the person who flew out today to look at the car was the highest bidder, was not happy with the car and removed his highest bid since it is back down to $17,250 reserve not met

I think he said he wanting to get 23 out of this car.....guess he should have taken my 20k offer when I was hot on the car and didn't look hard enough at the pics....thank God for my sake he didn't take it. Looks like he is sh*t out of luck now. It's a shame what salt does to these cars unfortunately.

I don't see the sunroof/rust issue. Looks like a pretty nice ride to me... A little detailing underhood and some Boeshield on the surface rust and you're good. Although I'd like to see underside photos myself before pulling the trigger.

If he wanted 23k out of the car, he shouldn't have set the reserve so low. Like Aaron said, if it could be bought for the 18k mark little detailing and enjoy.
