I pulled the trigger on this one guys, it's headed to NY soon. I appreciate the helpful PMs I received throughout my search.

I plan on putting some new tires on (storing originals), changing coolant, brake fluid, and oil as I'm going to drive the car here and there on weekends. Gas tank has already been cleaned out and car is running. I'm all ears if you have suggestions on other stuff I should plan on doing to get roadworthy. Thanks

Congrats. But please drive and enjoy it. I'm over 60 (so is the wife) and the wife and I have been into Mustangs and doing the show scene for over 12 years. My son told me "Pops, what the hell are you going to buy it for if you're just going to show it! You need a truck and trailer, etc. " Well you know what, he was right! Right now we have two Vibrant Reds (on the market as we are getting older) and a 1990 White Hatch/Black Cloth with under 17,000 miles. We drive them all as weather permits. Okay you got the original tires, with the original air. You just going to look at this thing in your garage or enjoy it! Drive it! So many times I've been sitting at a red light with that rumble sound going and someone pulls up beside me and gives me that thumbs up! Please enjoy, life is too short. Just my 02 cents.
