Thanks man. Yep still looking. Sooner or later one will pop up that has my name on it.
That's why cash is king, better to be on this side of the fence then the other.Duke03 wrote:LOL you guys sound just like my wife. Just buy one and be done with it. Being the tightest of cheap asses it's against my religion to spend money unless its an awesome deal.
Case in point I buy all my vehicles from the same dealership using the same salesman. He knows if they ever need to sell car to make their numbers work or to hit their sales quota he can call me. He also knows it better be a smoking deal or he's wasting his time. Two months ago he called me claiming they had a customer looking for a truck the same color as mine, a color that is no longer made. Long story short they knocked 12k off the sticker on the new truck and gave me $5,500 more than I owed on my trade that was only 2 years old. I got a brand new truck fully loaded and my payment went down. Can't beat that.
Then he called me on Christmas eve and was crying that his sales manager was worried they wouldn't sell a single car that day and he was wondering if my wife needed a new car. I told him to start pricing out a few models and get back to me with their best deal. When he called back their best deal was 8k off sticker on a 30k unit. After getting full value on the trade of my wife's car we drove off in a fully loaded brand new car after taxes and fees for 14k. Wrote the check and off we went.
